Hello, and welcome. I'm Marc Maley, and Founder of My Brand Academy.
I started in entertainment marketing, leading global strategies at firms like Think Jam for Harry Potter, Marvel and Star Wars and consulting for companies like Penguin Random House and TikTok. My role was to uncover the stories that would captivate audiences and build brand loyalty.
Over the years, I developed frameworks that made billion-dollar franchises resonate on a personal level, as well as enabling the in-house teams learn the secret sauce to these storytelling brand methods, through workshops and training programmes.
But as I moved through these spaces, I realised something crucial—while I loved working with major corporations and their brands, my true passion was helping people shape their own stories and careers - through the lens of learning and development for their own personal branding within the workplace, leveraging the methods I have developed.
That’s why I launched My Brand Academy—to democratise the branding frameworks I’ve used for global leaders and entertainment giants. I wanted to offer a step-by-step roadmap to individuals at the early stages of their careers, either directly, or partnering with the organisations that are investing in them.
